Cheryl M. English
is a certified Advanced Master Gardener living in Detroit, Michigan.
Formally educated as an Art Historian, Cheryl has parlayed her varied
training and experience into a (third? fourth?) career as a professional
gardener, potter and garden and art educator. She is President Emeritus
and occasional Programming Chair for Master Gardeners of Greater Detroit
and has written for the group’s newsletter The City Seedling.
She has also been active with the Editorial Board for the Detroit Garden
Center’s Bulletin and volunteers with The Greening of Detroit. Cheryl’s
garden was featured in the July 2009 issue of Michigan Gardener.
